18 chocolate wafers 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup melted butter 1 6-oz. pkg. chocolates bits 1/2 cup heavy cream 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 pint chocolate ice cream 1 quart orange sherbet
1. Crush wafers; place in bowl. Add sugar and melted butter; mix well. Press into 9-inch pie plate; chill.
2. Place chocolate bits and cream in saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until melted. Stir in vanilla; chill until thickened.
3. Stir chocolate ice cream until smooth; spoon into crust.
Spread 3/4 of the chocolate sauce over ice cream; return to freezer until firm.
4. Soften sherbert; spoon over chocolate sauce. Drizzle remaining chocolate sauce on top.
5. Freeze until firm.
