3 cups sifted all-purpose flour 1 cup sugar 4 teaspoon baking powder 1 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 beaten egg 1 1/2 cups milk 2 tablespoon salad oil 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1. Sift together dry ingredients.
2. Combine egg, milk, and salad oil; add to dry ingredients, beating well.
3. Stir in nuts.
4. Turn into greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
5. Bake in moderate 350-degree oven about 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until done.
6. Remove from pan; cool on rack.
