2 1/2 lb cut up broiler-fryer 1 cup catsup 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup vinegar 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 med. onion, chopped 2 Tbs cornstarch 1 Tbs lemon juice 1 tsp salt 1 tsp celery seed 1/4 tsp Liquid Smoke 2 dashes red pepper sauce
1. Cut chicken into pieces; cut breast in half. Arrange chicken skin side up and thickest parts to outside in oblong baking dish, 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inches.
2. Mix remaining ingredients in 4-cup glass microwave safe dish. Microwave uncovered on high (100\%) 3 minutes; stir.
3. Microwave until mixture boils and thickens, 2 to 3 minutes.
4. Pour sauce over chicken.
5. Cover loosely and microwave on high (100\%) 10 minutes.
6. Rearrange chicken and baste with sauce.
7. Cover loosely and microwave until chicken is done, 10 to 15 minutes, basting with sauce every 5 minutes.
