1/2 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract 2 cups milk 2 eggs, beaten 1/4 cup peeled, chopped apples 2 1/2 cups soft bread cubes, crust removed
1. Blend sugar, salt, cinnamon and lemon extract.
2. Stir in the milk and eggs, blending well.
3. Add apples and bread cubes. Let stand 5 minutes.
4. Pour into shallow greased 1 1/2 quart casserole,
spreading evenly.
5. Bake at 350-degrees for 45 minutes until pudding is
lightly golden.
