5 cups self-rising flour 1 cup oil 1/3 cup sugar 2 packages dry yeast 1/2 tsp. soda 2 cups buttermilk 1/4 cup warm water
1. Dissolve yeast in water add to oil and sugar. Combine remaining ingredients and mix well.
2. Store covered in refrigerator and pinch off as needed. Batter will last a week.
3. Bake at 400-degrees for 10 minutes.
